KRØYERS PLADS – COPENHAGEN DENMARK
Green building in the heart of Copenhagen’s old city
Krøyers Plads is an exciting new build in the heart of Copenhagen’s old city with a history dating back to 1747.
It’s a challenging build because of its location and historical importance. And it’s also an important build, as it’s the first to be built under Denmark’s stringent new codes for green building, the so-called Nordic Swan or Svanemaerket codes.
The project is a mix of 20,000 m2 of offices, retail and housing. All of it needs to live up to Danish BR 15 energy regulations and will be visually green, with one façade and the roof covered with vegetation.
OUR HILTI SOLUTION
This was a big green building challenge, but we were more than able to help with one of our Clean-Tec products, designed to exceed statutory environmental requirements.
So while our Hilti engineers gave advice and technical calculations, our Hilti HIT-CT1 Clean-Tec adhesive was just right for post-installation rebars, matching the Nordic Swan codes, with a mal code of 00-3.
