Features

  • Shorter installation time – wire suspensions are a faster alternative to threaded rod
  • Easier to adjust – self-closing wire lock can be adjusted tool-free, making leveling, retrofitting and long drop lengths much simpler
  • Aesthetics – wire rope suspension is a discreet installation method for exposed building services and open soffits
  • Combustion-free operation – no gas cans or powder cartridges to shop and dispose of and no certification required when used with fully electric BX fastening tools,
  • Can be fastened while standing on the floor using the BX pole tool – safer method of installation avoiding lifts and ladders

Applications

  • Suspending spiral HVAC duct from concrete, wood and metal deck
  • Suspending electrical lighting from the ceiling
  • Suspending security attachments (secondary attachment point to work if first attachment point fails)
  • Up to 30 lbs (13.5 kg) allowable load values
  • Suitable for use in dry, indoor environments only
