Hilti active vibration reduction system in breakers

HOW ACTIVE VIBRATION REDUCTION HELPS MINIMISE EXPOSURE TO VIBRATION

Hilti Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) cuts tool vibration by up to two-thirds

When you work with breakers, exposure to vibration is part of the job and regular long-term exposure can lead to health problems, disrupting circulation in the hand and forearm and cause damage to nerves, tendons, muscles, bones and joints.

Our Hilti Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) technology addresses this problem, with a combination of innovations to help minimise exposure to tool vibration by up to two-thirds compared to competitor tools.

It is available across a wide range of our tools, including our breakers, meaning they can be used safely for longer, with reduced vibration meaning reduced health risk – and increased productivity!

Thanks to our AVR system, workers do not feel as tired as when using conventional breakers and are allowed to work for longer on the tools before reaching HSE exposure limits. With some of our breakers, such as the TE 1000-AVR, you can work a full 8 hour day on the tool without putting yourself at risk.
